We are incredibly proud to present Dràm Mòr Group Ltd., a prominent independent bottler of single cask spirits, based in Dumbarton, Scotland. Founded in 2019 by the driven husband-and-wife team Kenny and Viktorija Macdonald, Dràm Mòr (Scottish Gaelic for ‘Big Whisky’) began as an export agency for Scottish whiskies, but quickly evolved into a respected bottler, driven by the growing demand for independent, high-quality spirits.

Their Passion: Unique Cask Selection and Transparency

Dràm Mòr’s philosophy aligns seamlessly with ours: an uncompromising dedication to delivering the highest quality unique spirits. They excel in finding the perfect spirit and are particularly proud of their expert cask selection process. They hold no preconceptions about aged spirits; whether it’s Scotch whisky, rum, Armagnac, or Cognac, they firmly believe that anything that emerges from a cask can be truly unique, utterly delightful, and, most importantly, interesting.

They source a wide range of casks, including sherry, port, dessert wines, red wines, rum, cognac, and the finest ex-bourbon barrels. Like us, Dràm Mòr eschews chill-filtration and added coloring, and the majority of their whiskies are bottled at cask strength, ensuring a pure and intense tasting experience.

A Diverse Portfolio of Single Cask Releases

Dràm Mòr typically releases three to four ‘batches’ per year, each consisting of a series of limited single cask bottlings. This ensures a constant flow of rare and fascinating expressions. Their portfolio includes:

Single Malt Whisky: Carefully selected from various distilleries.
Single Grain Whisky: Unique expressions with distinct character.
Blended Malt Whisky: Such as the “Dumbarton Rock,” a tribute to their local heritage.
Single Barrel Rum & Armagnac: A testament to their open mindset and pursuit of exceptional spirits beyond the whisky world.
